Pete’s Bad RSS Report and Tool Get Me 9/10 top 10′s fast!

Recently I was talking to Peter Drew via skype and he threw me into a world I was, until now, unfamiliar with.  In case you don’t know Peter Drew, he is the creator of the Popular Bad A** Report series.  Pete and I discussed RSS Feeds and where I was actually losing some easy traffic and sales at.

Now, I’m not the master of all marketing but it was hard to swallow someone showing me that I am missing traffic and sales.  For one because my business has been based around me getting traffic and sales.  :)   However, Pete opened up a new window of opportunity that I just happened to not be experienced at.  That topic was how to utilize RSS feeds to the max.  What I learned blew me off the map!

We agreed that I wanted to learn and I wanted to flip through his manual and learn for myself (I wanted to test to see if the product works without having him tell me how to use it).  I flipped through the report and watched one short 10 minute video and I must say by the end of the video I was a bit drawn in.

Was it a good marketing technique or was it simply going to floor me when it worked?

After about 4 hours of testing and 10 keywords later I was blown away with the results.  I tested his RSS feed tool and 9 out of 10 keywords I tested were in googles top 10 in just about an hour after they were all listed….

So, how did I do it?  First I snagged a trial copy of Pete’s Bad A** RSS Report and tool for $1 right here.  You can also watch the awesome videos right off the page there and they will really open your eyes to a new revenue source.

I followed the instructions he lays out in the report that comes with the software and the videos.  I created the blogger blog in under 10 minutes that Pete instructs us to do in the video, launched my feed out there and BOOM in under 1 hour I uncovered my first hot niche.  I was getting traffic fast as well!

The other 8 keywords that did well for me took just under 4 hours in total and Keep in mind before reading Pete’s report I had never utilized my RSS feeds before.  In fact, I honestly didn’t know what good they were for – Now I do :)

What this allowed me to do is uncover the hot niches keyword phrases I wanted to test out and see if they were going to be worth getting into google’s top 10.  When the keywords showed up in google’s top 10 in under an hour each I knew I just found a niche I could go easily dominate!

A couple of my keywords had over 700+ searches a day.  (Nope, I’m not giving them away as they pertain to some of my personal niches).  I will show you a couple of my screen shots for one of the keyword phrases I went after though.

This made it to #4 on google in just under an hour without quotes.

In quotes it made #1 again in just under 1 hour.

After testing I knew if I wanted I could make a niche site based on my keywords and easily dominate google probably withing 3-4 weeks.

Meanwhile I could eat off of my Feed that directed people from my the feed in the search engine to my web site until my site over took higher ranks for the same keywords :)

Do you see the power in this tool yet?  I am talking that in a day I could uncover and unlimited number of hot niches and build an empire over the next month!

I’ll add more on my progress with this later but all you need to get started is Pete’s tool it’ll only set you back $1 to try it then it’s an insanely low monthly price if you decide to keep it.  From now on I’ll never search niches without this tool again.  In fact, at the time of writing this it’s only $27 a month…

  1. 3 Day-Trial for only $1 sounds good, but most Germans
don`t have a CC and so can`t`use this offer. It looks like you are only interested in monthly paying members.

    Werner,

Not sure exactly what you mean. I thought everyone used Paypal world wide? You don’t have to have a credit card.

As mentioned in the post the trial is for 3 days to test the software for $1. You can cancel anytime before the trial is over. No one is forcing anyone to buy anything. The cool thing with this software is that it works extremely well and that’s why I did a case study on it.

  3. Michael,

This tool looks really useful. I have a couple questions about it.

    1) Do you still need to do link analysis regarding getting rankings? Or are there some assumptions you make based on the initial results with the tool?

    2) What are you using to get data on your traffic.

  4. michaelbrown says:

    Paul,

Great questions. I still check back links before i go after something. But, not as thoroughly since I can do keyword research and then build a small blogger blog in under 15-20 minutes.

    I use 3 tools.
    1. http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ word tracker.
    2. http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/search.html trellion
    3. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and then the adwords tool.

All 3 help you to get a good understanding of how much volume the keywords you are going after actually get.

  5. Hello Michael, tnx for fast response.
Yes, I can use Paypal worldwide without any problems, even in Australia, but with USA I MUST have a CC, only if you offer this trial with a one-time-fee I can pay with PayPal or if you give me your PayPal-Email.

    Werner,

I see, I wasn’t aware of that. If this were my tool I would do it. You’ll need to contact peter drew on his support page to ask something like that.

Just shoot through the link I put in the post and there you’ll be able to contact him.

  7. I tried searching on Google for “symptoms of dog poisoning” with and without quotes today June 22, 2008, but I don’t see the url example you used for your test. Did Google drop those feeds?

  8. michaelbrown says:

    Leroy,

It’s not that google dropped the feeds but the feeds have dropped off the top pages in feedage. Which is to be expected.

Meanwhile all 20 feeds places I placed my feeds are still in existence.

However, what I should be doing if I think “Symptoms of Dog Poisoning” is a viable niche, is to make a new “real” blog based off of those keywords.

Since it was easy to rank within an hour to the homepage of google we know it wouldn’t take a lot of backlinks to build a niche around it.

Meanwhile you’d simply resubmit your news feeds from your new blog and pick up the 20 back links.

Hopefully, that adds a little more clarity. I am using it for mainly the keyword research aspect but you still gain those extra links and all links in are good.

  9. I am a beginner with 8 months experience (from ground zero). I have managed to master the general concept of most things (enough to start my site). Now I am attacking topics to gain more depth in them.

I just started looking at blogging this weekend. I have been taking a stab at keyword research. I am not progressing well in it.

Would you have a recommendation for a detailed work on keyword research?

I just purchased Pete’s RSS Report — RSS an important topic I need to study.

  10. michaelbrown says:

    Carol,

Keyword research is probably the most important aspect of affiliate marketing as it goes hand and hand with traffic.

Have you read my affiliate marketing power series volume 1? It has a pretty detailed account of keyword research. However, the next volume I am going to go even deeper into keyword research but to understand volume 3 you’ll need to make sure you understand the vast majority of the basics.

I also have a free video that might help give you an over view of how to do your keyword research.

First here is where you can grab a copy of AMP Vol. 1 if you’re interested in it.

    http://www.ampowerseries.com

Then here is a free video I produced on keyword research a little while back that might help you out.

    http://www.screencast.com/t/zNtK08eh

I have really enjoyed using Peter Drew’s tool utilizing RSS feeds for my more recent keyword research. However, I fully suggest understanding other aspects of keyword research before relying on utilizing RSS feeds.

If you need anything else, please feel free to post. :)
